If someone doesn’t want to be with you, it’s okay. If you’re not loved, it’s okay to move on. If someone picks someone else over you, it’s okay to move on. Not everyone you love will stay. Not everyone you trust will stay.
Imagine you’re walking in the forest and suddenly a snake bites you. Instead of dealing with the bite and focusing on getting better, you decide to chase after the snake. Asking why did it bite me? Did I deserve this bite. But the snake has already moved on. You are spending your energy chasing something that can’t give you the answers you’re looking for. However, this has nothing to do with the snake. It’s about life. Sometimes we get hurt by people, and instead of focusing on getting better and moving forward, we spend our energy dwelling on why it happened. But the real lesson is that our energy is better spent on healing ourselves. So if you want to make a change, don’t chase the snake. Deal with it.
I don't mind losing people who don’t want to be in my life. I’ve lost people who meant a lot to me, and I’m still doing fine. Don’t just do what most people do. Follow the right way.
To get better at moving, exercise. To think more clearly, meditate. To understand the world, read. To understand yourself, write. To learn faster, make the process enjoyable. To grow faster, be consistent. To love others, love yourself.
You can feel when someone is not being real with you. Energy never lies. Always express how you feel, and never apologize for being honest.
Give people time. Give people space. Don’t beg anyone to stay. Let them go. What’s meant for you will always be yours. I feel much better when people don’t know where I am and what I’m doing.
You might not be able to control every situation and its outcome, but you can control your attitude and how you handle it. It will come back to you in unexpected ways. Be content with what you have while working for what you want.
Remember that some things have to end for better things to begin.
Always remember these two golden rules.
Rule number one, if people are talking behind your back and they’re not coming up and saying it to you, then let them stay where they are.
Rule number two, when you get what you want, that’s God’s direction. But when you don’t get what you want, that’s God’s protection.
